Business Development Manager to Axelent Nordic in Finland & Baltics

We continue to grow in the Nordics and are now looking for a Business Development Manager for Finland & the Baltics to further build the business, open doors with new customers and strengthen Axelent’s presence across the region. You will be our key driver of new business and work closely with our Nordic team with product and presales support behind you. Preferred location: Helsinki region.
In this role, you own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and first meetings to on-site needs assessment, solution proposals, quotations and closing. You’ll lead dialogues with industrial customers, integrators and players in logistics, packaging complete solutions that create clear customer value. You thrive in an independent role with clear goals, plan your week and build pipeline methodically. Presence and sales activities will cover both Finland and the Baltic countries, with your time balanced across the markets. You are expected to represent the company’s interests and act as a loyal and professional representative, both internally and externally.
Your mission — what you will achieve
• Proactively win new business in Finland & the Baltics: open new accounts and develop existing relationships
• Book and conduct customer meetings—both in person and digital—and translate needs into solutions and quotations
• Collaborate closely with presales; follow up quotations and close deals
• Work data-driven with pipeline and forecast; analyse industry and market trends for effective targeting
• Represent Axelent at relevant events and within partner networks, both in person and digitally
Who you are:
You have documented experience of new-customer B2B sales in Finland and/or the Baltics and are used to creating opportunities proactively. You’re goal-oriented, comfortable with new ways of working and digital sales tools, and you build trust with customers. You have experience analysing and understanding relevant industries and market trends while running multiple cases in parallel. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English; Swedish and/or the Baltic language skills are a plus. Above all, you are a driven salesperson with a strong sense of ownership who enjoys working as part of a team—you like winning together with colleagues.
