The Inside Sales Representative will act as a liaison between Axelent's outside sales team and clients, providing information and services related to purchased materials.
Duties/Responsibilities
Reads and interprets client quotes from outside sales team members.
Begins the design the process by interacting with the client to better understand their needs.
Makes recommendations for Axelent products and solutions based on client feedback.
Creates technical drawings using Axelent proprietary CAD software.
Manages and quotes client work as it comes in and answers inquiries and questions related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, and other related information.
Maintains records such as drawings, specifications, part assemblies and pricing.
Provides secondary support for outside sales force.
Travels occasionally to client sites and trade shows as necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong technical and analytical abilities.
Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Previous computer aided design software (CAD) experience is strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
Associate Degree preferred, not required.
Successful completion of on-the-job training related to software programs and product line.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

Experience:
industrial sales: 2 years (Preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
