Marie works as a Team Leader at the warehouse in Hillerstorp, where she makes sure that daily operations run smoothly and production stays on track. She shares what a typical workday looks like, what motivates her, and why the team spirit at Axelent means so much to her.

What does a typical day look like for you as a Team Leader at Axelent?

The day always starts with a short pulse meeting with my team, where we go through the plan for the day and any challenges we might face. After that, I have a check-in with the Production Managers and the other Team Leaders in the warehouse to see if we need to reallocate staff between departments. From there, every day looks a bit different,  sometimes I have several meetings, sometimes none at all. Overall, my job is about making sure everything runs smoothly and that the machines keep operating as they should throughout the day.

Do you have any advice for someone considering a job in warehouse and production?

A positive mindset and the right attitude make all the difference. It’s also important to be a team player, we help each other a lot in our daily work. And of course, following safety procedures is always essential.

If you could switch roles at Axelent for a day, which one would you choose and why?

I would probably choose to be a Production Manager, mainly because it’s my closest manager and it would be interesting to get a sense of what their day looks like.

I’m motivated by learning new things and improving at what I do. I really enjoy developing and growing in my role.

What’s the best thing about working at Axelent?

The best thing is the variety, no two days are the same. I get to work with something I truly enjoy, we have a great team spirit, and I feel genuinely appreciated.
