Alexis Leduc, Regional Director Thailand
As Regional Director, Alexis Leduc plays a key role in connecting Axelent’s global strategy with the realities of local markets. Leading a young and fast-growing organisation in Thailand, he focuses on building a culture of trust, openness and shared ambition, where collaboration and ownership drive long-term success across the region.
As Regional Director, how would you describe your role and how it influences the culture across Axelent Thailand and the wider region?
I see my role as a bridge between Axelent’s global vision and our local and regional reality. Every market has its own dynamics, challenges and opportunities, so a key part of my responsibility is translating the company’s broader strategy into something meaningful and actionable for our team here.
Beyond business direction, I try to influence culture by promoting openness, trust and a sense of shared purpose. Culture is built through everyday interactions, and I aim to lead in a way that encourages collaboration, ownership and confidence across the region.
“Culture is built through everyday interactions.”
How do you work to embed Axelent’s values in the daily work?
For me, values are not something we talk about occasionally. They must be visible in how we work every day. Building Axelent Thailand requires us to be both brave and passionate. Growth and success demand energy, resilience and the courage to try new approaches.
At the same time, we succeed only by being inclusive, supporting one another and taking responsibility for our actions. When people genuinely care about what they do and about their colleagues, values become part of the natural way of working.
What is most important to you when building and leading a strong team?
For me, it starts with trust and independence. People need to understand the direction and the challenges we face, but they also need the freedom to think and act on their own. Strong teams are built when individuals feel trusted to contribute ideas and challenge how things are done.
Leadership is not about providing all the answers. It is about creating an environment where people feel confident to explore solutions, challenge assumptions and grow through experience.
“Leadership is not about providing all the answers. It is about creating an environment where people feel confident to explore solutions and grow.”
How do you create engagement and collaboration within the organisation?
Engagement is about connection. It comes from communication, shared goals and the feeling that your work matters. I focus on creating spaces for dialogue, encouraging knowledge sharing and building bridges between teams.
Collaboration grows when people feel heard and respected. That requires accessibility, consistency and a genuine willingness to listen. When people feel included in conversations and decisions, engagement becomes natural rather than forced.
What are you most proud of in the development of the team in Thailand?
I am incredibly proud of what we have built together. Establishing Axelent Thailand has been a collective effort, and the team has created a solid foundation for future growth.
Although we have only been operating for a year, I am proud of the team’s development in confidence, capability and collaboration. Seeing individuals take ownership, support each other and grow professionally is extremely rewarding. It gives me great confidence in what we can achieve moving forward.
In your view, what makes Axelent Thailand a great place to work?
What makes Axelent Thailand special is our people and our mindset. We are a young and dynamic team with a strong vision for achieving big things. There is a sense of ambition combined with teamwork and mutual support.
Everyone has the opportunity to contribute, develop and make an impact. That combination of energy, professionalism and shared goals creates a very positive and motivating work environment.
